Fermeli
The waistcoast of the ceremonial uniform of the Evzones,
soldiers of the Presidential Guard.
A “fermeli” is embroidered
with white or gilt thread,
and takes up to one month to sew.
The yellow stripes (if any)
indicate the military rank of the wearer.
