In Greek mythology, the Hesperides are the nymphs
of evening and golden light of sunsets.
Daughters of Atlas, the Hesperides number three,
like the other Greek triads.
The Hesperides were given the task of guarding

the golden apples of Hera’s orchard.
Not trusting them, Hera also placed an immortal,

never-sleeping, snake with 100 eyes.
